This new Hayley Guitars 6 String is so much more than a Cigar Box Guitar. Its a regular 25.5" Scale length guitar housed inside a cool Cigar Box. Don't let its looks fool you, this guitar can truly rock. With a push/pull volume pot, you can get great single coil sounds as well as great P.A.F. Humbucker tones from the Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickup. The wood for the neck as well as the body insert is all quarter sawn Elm. I milled up these logs myself several years ago using my Alaskan Chain Saw Mill, so I've taken it from log to guitar. You won't get this material from the lumber yard. Just because the outside of the body is a Cigar Box, doesn't mean its going to sound like one. Check out the sound demo below. This Hayley Guitars Dorian was specially built for the Great Guitar Build Off 2021. It features a 25.5" Scale length. Hard Maple Neck with 2 way truss rod with dual carbon fiber reinforcement rods for maximum stability. It has a rosewood fretboard, mahogany body with a Quilted Maple top. This guitar has what I'm calling the Lava Burst finish on the quilted maple. The neck has an oil finish for that natural wood feel, and the body has a water based, high gloss finish to make it shine. For the hardware, we have Gotoh tuners, Graph tech string tree, graphite nut, Seymour Duncan Nazgul/Sentient humbucker pickup set, Schaller Bridge, CTS 500k pots with chrome knobs, and a switchcraft jack. This instrument is ready to rock and includes a Gator Brand Gig Bag, and stickers. Check out this build video to see the process. This Hayley Guitars Tonic features a Mahogany Body with Quilted Maple top and Back. It was built during the quarantine of 2020. Its nickname is the Coronacaster, hence the Green colors. It has Gotoh Tuners, Schaller Bridge, and an awesome Bare Knuckle Pickups Nailbomb in the Bridge Position. There is a mini toggle switch to split the pickup into single coil so you can still get a ton of different sounds out of a single pickup. This guitar has a slim neck profile and is ready to play any style of music you can throw at it.

Natural Tonic, Oil Finished Ash Body

This guitar is made from Ash. The body has a ton of awesome character, featuring a little spalting and a sweet knot. The neck is made from a slab of curly maple and has a mesquite fretboard, with a radius of 14" The neck profile is a thin "D" shape. Its has a single Seymour Duncan Distortion Humbucker. The matching Mesquite Control Plate, Fretboard, and Pickup Ring, really tie it all together. This instrument is finished with an oil finish for a very natural feel. You'll actually feel the wood. The high quality electronics consist of CTS 500K Volume and Tone Pots, Orange Drop Capacitor, and Switchcraft output jack. This guitar is one of the early prototypes. It was built as I continue to refine my materials and processes, and the price reflects that. This is your chance to get one of the early models.
