3 String Cigar Box Guitar
This is a completely handmade, 3 string Electric Cigar Box Guitar. It is made from a Spanish Cedar Cigar Box. It features a Quilted Maple Neck, and a Walnut Fretboard. It has a 25.5″ scale length. The floating bridge is moveable so you can fine tune the intonation. This guitar has a Piezo Disc pickup inside it so you can plug it in to an amp. Its so fun to play and sounds great. This guitar has one volume control only.

This Hayley Guitars Dorian was specially built for the Crimson Guitars Great Guitar Build Off. It features a 25.5" Scale length. Hard Maple Neck with 2 way truss rod with dual carbon fiber reinforcement rods for maximum stability. It has a rosewood fretboard, mahogany body with a Quilted Maple top. This guitar has what I'm calling the Lava Burst finish on the quilted maple. The neck has an oil finish for that natural wood feel, and the body has a water based, high gloss finish to make it shine. For the hardware, we have Gotoh tuners, Graph tech string tree, graphite nut, Seymour Duncan Nazgul/Sentient humbucker pickup set, Schaller Bridge, CTS 500k pots with chrome knobs, and a switchcraft jack. Natural Tonic, Oil Finished Ash Body

This guitar is made from Ash. The body has a ton of awesome character, featuring a little spalting and a sweet knot. The neck is made from a slab of curly maple and has a mesquite fretboard, with a radius of 14" The neck profile is a thin "D" shape. Its has a single Seymour Duncan Distortion Humbucker. The matching Mesquite Control Plate, Fretboard, and Pickup Ring, really tie it all together. This instrument is finished with an oil finish for a very natural feel. You'll actually feel the wood. The high quality electronics consist of CTS 500K Volume and Tone Pots, Orange Drop Capacitor, and Switchcraft output jack. This guitar is one of the early prototypes.
